Pam Z. recently purchased a 1950s ranch home in Queen Creek, AZ. It sits on a large, equestrian lot in a beautiful location, however, the interior was a mess. It needed all new flooring, paint, lighting, doors, and the bathrooms had to be gutted. Walls needed to be moved and the fireplace needed refurbishing. After getting several bids and feeling overwhelmed by the scale of the project, Pam contacted Canter Stage Interiors. We were able to upgrade all the finishes while saving Pam over $20K in renovation costs. Not only was the project was finished 2 weeks ahead of schedule, Pam was thrilled with the results.

Center Stage Interiors has access to flooring, granite, tile, cabinetry…. everything you need for interior remodels at wholesale pricing. We use the highest rated contractors who will respect your time and take pride in their work. Why pay retail when you can save time and money while eliminating the stress of trying to do it yourself? Whether your remodel is big or small, call today. We can help.

I had the pleasure of decorating a fabulous home in Ocotillo Country Club for the holidays. The homeowners, Laura and Ron, were wonderful to work with. We had loads of fun and became great friends.

The high ceilings and huge mantels gave me opportunities to create large scale wreaths and tall trees. The results were over the top with sparkling lights, stunning colors, and reflective textures.

We were recently contacted by a man who’s elderly mother had her 4800 sq. ft. home on the market in Power Ranch, a Gilbert subdivision. It had been shown over 40 times in 7 months with no offers.

Center Stage Interiors agreed to stage the home for $1200 and asked the homeowner to invest $1000. in new bedding, artwork, and accessories. The staging process took 3 days. Within one week the owner received 2 offers and the home is now in escrow with a back up offer just in case.

The homeowner was considering dropping the asking price by $15K, but wanted to hold out for top dollar. Instead, she opted to invest a small amount of money in home staging, resulting in a contract for full price.

For any who have ever wondered if home staging is an effective strategy for getting homes sold quickly and for top dollar, the statistics speak for themselves. Home staging works!

I recently staged a home in Gilbert for a wonderful couple name David and Karin. The budget was tight, however, I was able to transform every space in their 2600 sq. ft. property.

We finished on a Thursday and the home went on the market on Friday. By Monday, they had multiple offers resulting in a bidding war. The home sold for far above the asking price.

For those of you who think you can’t afford Home Staging, think again. You can’t afford not to stage your home. David and Karin spent approx. $3K in merchandise and fees. Their return was $14K!!!

With the extra money from the sale of the house, they want us to fix up their new home prior to moving in. Overall, an excellent investment!

Having had the opportunity to furnish and decorate many vacation homes belonging to Canadians, I was invited to speak to the Steve Mertel Group last Sunday. This powerful group educates it’s members on buying recreational and investment real estate in the U.S. I am honored to become a member of their Phoenix “power team” which is a group of professionals dedicated to serve the needs of Steve Mertel clients. Thank you to Rod and Kris Anderson of Remax Excalibur for including Center Stage Interiors in this endeavor.

This bedroom was created for an adorable 2 year old named Jacob who loves Lightning McQueen. We started with the bed, purchased on line at a substantial savings. A large tool chest was added in place of a dresser for plenty of storage. The checkered flag lamp shade finishes the space.

We all know children and their things take up a lot of space…. a LOT of space! There’s no need to panic. Creative storage ideas and dedicated play areas can prevent your home from becoming a massive sea of toys and clutter. Center Stage Interiors recently decorated a home for a couple with an active 2 year old boy and another boy on the way.

The family room was divided into 2 spaces. We created an area focused on the entertainment center for TV and movie viewing . The second area is a dedicated play area centered on a soft, wool rug with a toddler sized table and chairs in the middle. The space is flanked by benches with bins for toy storage and easy clean up.

There’s an old saying that says, “If your home is too clean, you’re not spending enough time with your children”. We agree, but with the right design, you might be able to find the floor once in a while!

As we look forward to 2014, many things come to mind. We have hopes that this year will bring about the changes we’ve hoped for and regrets that last year came and went so quickly without many of our goals coming to fruition.

Many people I meet have said they want to make improvements to their homes but don’t know where to start. The easiest place to begin is with an Interior Designer. Designers have the training and expertise to lay out a plan based on any budget and show homeowners how to prioritize the plan based on their particular needs.

At Center Stage Interiors, the initial consultation is complimentary. Give us a call. The first step to making your dreams come true is simply picking up the phone. We’ll look forward to hearing from you.

A very happy new year to all!
